 Rochester Ophthalmological Group P.C. returns as the title sponsor for Flour City Cycling in the 2011 season. ROG’s involvement started with a supporting sponsorship in 2004 and has grown every year since. The team thanks returning supporting sponsors: the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and Bente Local 2419. Towners Bike Shop returns as the presenting sponsor, and has supported the team for more than 15 years. All that I know is that Crit racing after work is the only thing I wanna do to release built up stress. In the cat4/5 race we had Aaron and me racing in a field of 51, on a lap that could fit 30 or less much easier: fun course though.

Corey Knowles, Danny Zotter, Owen Wood, and I (Aaron DiNoto) took part in the Chris Thater Memorial Crit this past Sunday. We went to Binghamton with the plan being to get Corey the win and hopefully his Cat 3 upgrade.

Holy hell ! We had a number of racers going to Gloucester Mass, Ryan and Owen raced early in the cat 4 event Saturday, and Owen competed in the master’s event on Sunday.

The Weekend began with a 60 mile road race, 10 laps and ten times up the short but steep frost ridge. There were a number of attacks throughout the race; however, the race always came back together. |
